Terms of Service

Sequenzo schedules and sends follow-up email from mailboxes you own and connect, tracks replies, opens and clicks on those messages, and stops a sequence when a recipient replies or opts out. We are a tool that operates your mailbox on your instruction. We are not the sender of record, we do not supply contact lists, and we do not send on your behalf from our own domains.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for everything done under your credentials, and for every user you invite into your workspace. Keep your password and any API keys secret; tell us at [email protected] immediately if you believe either has been exposed. Accounts are for a named person — do not share one.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. One person or organisation may not create multiple free or trial accounts to avoid plan limits.

Email sending is the product, so the sending rules are strict. You must not use Sequenzo to:

• send to addresses obtained by scraping, purchase, rental or any list where the recipient has no plausible relationship with you;
• send messages that hide or falsify who you are — forged headers, misleading subject lines, impersonated senders or lookalike domains;
• omit a working opt-out, or continue to email anyone who has unsubscribed, bounced or asked you to stop by any means;
• send unsolicited bulk email in breach of the CAN-SPAM Act, CASL, GDPR/ePrivacy, the Indian IT Act or any equivalent law that applies to you or your recipients;
• send malware, phishing, fraud, adult content, or anything unlawful, defamatory or harassing;
• circumvent sending limits, warm-up ceilings, suppression lists or rate limits, whether via the interface, the API, the browser extension or by any technical means;
• resell, sublicense or white-label the service without our written agreement.

You must include a genuine physical postal address and an unsubscribe mechanism in commercial mail. Sequenzo adds an RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe header and footer link by default; disabling or defeating them is a breach of these terms.

We act on abuse. Sustained bounce rates above 5%, spam complaints above 0.3%, or a credible abuse report can lead to automatic pausing of a mailbox, and to suspension or termination without refund. We may act immediately and explain afterwards where the alternative is ongoing harm to recipients.

You own your content: your contacts, sequences, templates and message bodies. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, transmit and back it up so the service can work. For the personal data of your recipients you are the controller and we are your processor; the Privacy Policy sets out how we handle it. You confirm you have a lawful basis for every address you upload.

Mailbox connection methods and permissions depend on the provider and the feature you enable. Gmail mailbox OAuth is currently disabled by the platform administrator; the current Gmail setup uses an app password or SMTP/IMAP configuration where available. Microsoft and other supported mailbox connections may use their own provider authentication flow.

If a provider connection is enabled, Sequenzo uses it only to send the messages you request and to perform the mailbox processing needed for the enabled features. The submitted Sequenzo browser extension's Google OAuth capability is send-only and does not request Gmail read-only or modify access. You can revoke access at any time from the provider’s security settings or by removing the mailbox in Sequenzo; queued follow-ups from that mailbox stop.

Paid plans are billed in advance per period and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time before renewal from Billing; you keep access to the end of the period already paid for. Prices exclude taxes unless stated. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice before it applies to your next renewal.

Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we terminate your account for our own convenience — in which case we refund the unused portion. Accounts terminated for a breach of section 3 are not refunded.

We work to keep Sequenzo available and we back the database up nightly, but the service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, and we depend on third parties (mail providers, payment gateways, hosting) whose outages are outside our control. Planned maintenance is announced in-app where practical.

To the maximum extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or anything that cannot be limited by law.

You indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service, your content and your sending practices — including complaints, regulatory action or damages caused by mail you sent through Sequenzo.

You may close your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate for a material breach, for non-payment after notice, or for conduct that endangers the platform or its other customers. On termination we delete or anonymise your workspace data within 30 days, except where we must retain records (invoices, abuse reports) for legal reasons. Export your data before you close the account.

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use Sequenzo after that date is acceptance.
