Acceptable Use Policy

Sequenzo is a follow-up automation tool for conversations you are entitled to have. Before you add an address you must be able to show, on request, where it came from and why contacting it is lawful: an opt-in, an existing customer or supplier relationship, an inbound enquiry, an event or trial signup, or — where local law permits business-to-business outreach — a documented, individually researched and relevant business reason.

You are responsible for compliance with the law that applies to your recipients, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR and ePrivacy, CASL, the Australian Spam Act, and the DPDP Act. Where consent is required, you must hold it and be able to evidence it.

You may not use Sequenzo to send unsolicited bulk email (spam). Specifically prohibited, and grounds for immediate termination:

• purchased, rented, traded, scraped, harvested or “enriched” contact lists, including addresses from data brokers, LinkedIn scrapers or web crawlers;
• guessed, permutated or pattern-generated addresses ([email protected] attempts), and catch-all blasting;
• mass, untargeted cold outreach — high-volume identical messages to recipients with no relationship to you and no lawful basis;
• emailing anyone who has unsubscribed, bounced hard, or complained;
• re-uploading a suppressed contact, using a second workspace to reach a suppressed contact, or attempting to remove or disable the unsubscribe footer;
• splitting one sending programme across multiple accounts, mailboxes or domains to get around limits, review or suppression (“snowshoeing”).

• phishing, credential harvesting, malware, spyware or fraudulent invoices;
• forged, misleading or impersonated sender identities, subject lines, headers or reply-to addresses, including impersonating Sequenzo, Google or Microsoft;
• cryptocurrency, forex, binary options, “get rich quick”, pyramid, MLM, payday lending, essay mills, fake reviews, SEO backlink schemes and lead-gen for any of them;
• adult content, gambling where unlicensed, illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, and pharmaceuticals without the required licence;
• harassment, threats, hate speech, doxxing, or contacting someone who asked you to stop;
• anything that breaks Google’s or Microsoft’s program policies and terms for the mailbox you connect, including their bulk sender and spam policies.

Commercial email sent through Sequenzo must identify the sender accurately, carry a valid physical postal address, and include a working one-click unsubscribe that we honour permanently and immediately across your whole workspace. Do not disable, obscure or misroute it. Suppression records are never deleted — that is deliberate.

Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, sending windows, daily caps, the review queue or suppression; do not automate signups; do not resell raw sending capacity; do not probe, scan or load-test the service without written permission; do not use the API or Chrome extension in a way that violates Google’s API Services User Data Policy.

We monitor aggregate abuse signals — bounce rate, spam-complaint rate, blocklist and provider feedback, and reports to [email protected] — and we apply the following controls to every account:

• Email verification. No account can send a single message until its signup address is confirmed.
• Manual review. New accounts are limited to a low daily volume (currently 50 messages a day) until a human at Sequenzo approves them, whatever plan they are on.
• Volume ramp. Daily ceilings increase with account age and payment history, not on demand.
• Automatic pause. Sending stops when bounce or complaint rates cross our thresholds, or when a postal address is missing.
• Kill switch. We can stop sending on any account immediately, pending review. Your data, sequences and queue are preserved; nothing is deleted.

We may also require proof of consent for a list, ask you to remove contacts, refund and close an account, or report unlawful activity to the authorities. Suspension for abuse does not entitle you to a refund of the current term.

If you received mail through Sequenzo that breaches this policy, forward it with full headers to [email protected]. We investigate every report, we act on the account responsible, and we can suppress your address globally so no Sequenzo customer can reach you again. General questions: [email protected].
